for everyone

Joey and his stuffed monkey! Joey loves playing with this stuffed monkey my DD gave him.  We catch him carrying this thing around now and then.  The monkey is bigger than Joey.  He's also a big ham.  Look at sit there for the camera.  One of the few times we can get him to sit still long enough.

We were invited to a birthday party on Sunday so I had to make a birthday card.  I decided that since it is winter I would use an appropriate stame set.  This is what I cam up with.  The set is called Snow Angels by Stampin' Up.  I thought it turned out really cute.

In the stitching side of things I have my first finish of the year and several WIPs that I have photographed and posted in a new album which you can see here: http://donnilynn.multiply.com/photos/album/39/2009_WIPs_and_Finishes

Well back to a little stitching before getting ready for work.

He's a cutie!! Lucy had several of those plush toys - we can't give them to her anymore; she chews the seams right away and rips out the stuffing and eats it. She also pulls the fuzz off of tennis balls. Goofy dog...

Joey has several toys too. They work great when we have to leave him home alone for a period of time. We haven't started with tennis balls yet. He does fetch his squeaky santa. He loves it when we make it squeak then toss it.

What a sweet pup! We had a dog growing up who had a stuffed pink cat. He loved that thing, and would carry it around, occasionally rip open it's neck and then abandon it at your feet until it was fixed. We'd just sew it back up and away he'd go... he'd destroy any other stuffed toy you gave him, but not the pink cat. He had it his entire life.

At times I think dogs and cats are much smarter than we give them credit for. Joey is smart for pup, he looks at us and we can't help but wonder what he is thinking.
